This game is a lot of fun. It kept me occupied for a very long time, but of course it got old eventually. It is also extremely hard to beat. The first few cups are really easy, but then it gets nearly impossible. It was very frustrating. However, it has great multiplayer, and online play.
I never cared for soccer until it was done Mario

One of the most addicting games...EVER! Seriously...I loved the GC version but this one just kicked it in the face and gave it a makeover (I mean that in a good way). Online leaderboards, great online multiplayer (until the bastard leaves cause he's losing). Intense soccer matches with the Mario of weapons and characters you got yourself the most intense/hardcore sports game since NFL blitz. Not much else to say except it's addicting, intense, and extremely fun (especially online). With super sluggers already out, I can only hope we see a new Mario Golf because the one on GC was awesome. Please make a Mario Golf Wii (only don't call it that). And if there is one, make better controls than Wii sports golf.
PS. I challenge any member of the gamepro staff to a match.

Everyday around lunch time and sometimes after work, there is a small group of GamePros that hog up the demo room and sit with their eyes glued to the TV because they are playing this game. Obviously, it's a great game... But, one day I'm going to break down and hide the disc in my cube.
Soccer to the Extreme = Chaos. I love it

This game is just the game to have for partys if you arent a rock band fan. For one it is multiplayer. I do not personally own this game but I have played it. It is the best game for soccer ever. If you havent payed it just wait until you see Luigi turn giant while kicking the ball down the field.

An awesome 3 on 3 soccer game. The power-ups make it interesting and frustrating (in a good way). I'm usually a very casual gamer and not so susceptible to angry tantrums. Whether I'm winning by 8 or losing by 1, I'm constantly acting like an annoyed sports fan. I love this game.
One of the most fun soccer games I have played in awhile

I wasn't planning on buying MSC for the Wii but upon reading the hype about this game, I decided to trade in Mario Galaxy & Paper Mario plus a few other GameCube titles for this game. So far I have not been disappointed at all with this game except you have to use FC's to play against people you know. You can still play guest players online but that's pretty much it. The graphics are pretty good for a Wii game. There are no slowdowns at all except when you do Matrix like moves. This is doable since there aren't that many players running around (5 on 5 soccer including the GK). As long as the graphics are good for a Wii game, I'm happy. From what I have seen, you can play an exhibition game up to a best of 9 series (too lazy to check) against the CPU or a friend. Then you have the main part of the game which is the Road to the Strikers Cup. Then you have the online aspect. I haven't really played that part yet but based on my expriences with this game, I am itching to get online! There aren't really that much stats but this is supposed to be an acrade like game and it delivers in that arena. The controls are well done. You use the analog stick on the nunchunk to move the players. A is to select the nearest player to the ball, B is to shoot the ball, C is to use the power up items. The D-pad is to deke on offense and steal/slide on defense. The Z button is used here but I haven't used it since it deals with lob passes or shots. On defense you can shake the Wii to perform a big hit on the opposing player. You don't control the goalie on nomral shots...more on the goalie part later. If you hold down the B button long enough if you are the Nintendo character such as Mario, you get the chance to perform a Mega Strike where you jump up to the sky and kick between 3 to 6 balls towards the goal depending on the timing of hitting the B buttons to determine how many shots and how powerful the shots will be. The neat thing is that as the goalie if Bowser pulled that off against me, I can defend the shots using the Wii-mote pointer. Timing is important and if Bowser hit the ball the hardest, it would be difficult to block all shots but it can be done. The Mega Strike is a big factor in why this game is awesome. If you are down by a few goals, you can go ahead and attempt a Mega Strike to at least reduce the defiect, tie up the game, or win the game. That is why even if you are down by a few goals with like 30 seconds left in regulation, you still can win this game! Just imagine yourself making those huge clutch goals in crunch time. The last time I had a soccer game like this, I had SEGA Soccer Slam or something like that. It was a real fun game back for the PS2 and GameCube. Those type of soccer games will always be my favorite ones to play because of the pick up and play nature which is in this game as well. I was skeptical of this game even when I picked it up...I need to have Zidane do a head butt into my chest for ever doubting this game! If I am able to post more information about the online aspect, I will be sure to do it. In closing, this game is just fast, tight, and fun! I have a little warning for you guys...this game can be difficult even in the normal setting but in cases like this, it is a welcome addition because if it was too easy, I would have beaten the game in one night for certain. Kudos to Nintendo for making this game challenging yet fun. If I could give this game a 6, I would even consider it but 5/5 is still pretty good.
Exciting!!!!

This game is so awesome!! The introduction/entrance video lives up to the game behind it. The game is challenging and addicting, especially in multiplayer. This game lives up to the greats such as Galaxy, the upcoming Brawl, and Zelda:TP. Own a Wii? Great, buy this awesome game!!!
