Still Gotta Catch em All!

Pros Cons
Addictive gameplay Not enough content
Just plain fun Repetitive gameplay
Awesome audio It's boooring
Amazing visuals Doesn't live up to expectations

This game was fun but it was just too much like the older games Pokemon Yellow, Blue, and Red Version. The only thing that is different is the legendary locations like Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos. And the only addition is the different islands you can go to. But it was fun because if you have an action replay you can go to places like Birth Island and Navel Rock and get Deoxys, Ho-oh, and Lugia and then use your vs. Seeker on Seven Island and rebattle some opponents but other than that it is exactly the same as the really old Pokemon games. Well smell ya later! Much, later.

WaterBlue?

I'm not sure why the list of games had Fire Red and Leaf Green as separate games, so I chose FR(not that it matters, they're the same thing). Plainly put, FR and LG should have been one game. Making two different games was probably some plot by Nintendo to make double the money, and I guess it worked, because FR and LG (along with every other Pokemon game) sold like hot cakes, so that Nintendo could have filled their swimming pools with money if they wanted to (I like Nintendo, but I felt that they needed some bashing for that). Anyway, I thought that the game taking place in the original Kanto region was a confusing move, but no complaints here. I personally think that the first era of Pokemon was the best, so I was actually pretty excited about FR and LG. Unfortunately, FR and LG are eerily similar to Ruby and Sapphire, even up to the damn cave that you have to find your way through before facing the Elite 4 (which should really be called The Elite 5). Speaking of the Elite 4, it was actually harder than Ruby and Sapphire's Elite 4, and they actually got harder when you went to face them a second time. Also at the end there are 7 islands housing Pokemon from the Johto region which will keep you going after the Elite 4, but not for very long. To rap things up, this game was only good enough that you should have bought one, but not both. PROS: Elite 4 is harder, 7 islands and Johto Pokemon keep you going CONS: Very similar to Ruby and Sapphire

Gotta Catch Em' All!........again.

Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen are remakes of the orignal Pokemon games, Red and Blue. Obviously, you can say they're direct responses to Ruby and Sapphire as the graphics are very similar to Ruby and Sapphire, and this kind of path would lead to Diamond and Pearl. The first you thing you notice is that you can now choose what gender you want, just like Ruby and Sapphire. The next thing is the fact, everything's the same! The certain pokemon swarm here and here, this pokemon isn't there but here... all at the same location as before. Even the trainer locations are at the same place. The graphics are well made, as the sprites for the pokemon images are really great, not lacking major noticable pixels like most cheap GBA games were made like. The gameplay is the same too, just like all pokemon games; catch this, catch that, beat this guy and stop Team Rocket. However, there are some differences. First, the pokemon Moltres is now in a new location, and no longer in Victory Road. Instead, Moltres is in a place known as the Sevii Islands, which can be explored once you take down the Elite Four. The sound is good, but how many times do we have to hear the same battle music and same pokemon growls over and over again? There are some flaws than just what was mentioned like, in the Elite Four, you have to take down four powerful Trainers in a row one by one, but not escaping. If you save after two battles and still have to beat the next two which are harder, you have just screwed up your file. Overall, Pokmon FR and LG are must buys if you love taking your GBA or DS around alot.

Pokemon Fire-Red Review

Pokemon Fire Red is a remake of Pokemon Red made in 1998. this game is the same thing but with better graphics and a little more things. Graphics This game looks great way better than the old Red version. the pokemon has so mush more detail.I think this is the best looking pokemon game is the GBA! Sound This game sounds the same as the old red version (yes the same noise)from the old music to some new pokemon noises not alot though but there is some new ones but anyway this game sounds the same but still good. Controls this game has the same controls as the old red version but the shoulder buttons have a twist if you need help ingame you just push one on them and it wil help you.this game has great controls. Gameplay This game has great gameplay i think this is the best pokemon game ever because i always wanted the old pokemon to look good and now they do so i tell you this game is the best pokemon game out there. The gameplay is the same as all the pokemon games. Graphics 9.5 Sound 9.0 Controls 9.7 Gameplay 10.0 Overall 10.0
