Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is not only the best shooter I have ever played, but also the best game. I only got it yesterday for the Xbox 360, so I am not too far along in the campaign, but it is simply stunning, everything about it, from the very beginning. The training at the beginning is even amazing. You get to shoot targets and compete a timed course (with even more targets).

After you successfully complete training, the real action begins. Like I said, I haven't gotten too far into the campaign, but it is amazing. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare seems to have the most intelligent A.I. of any game. It is really sort of creepy how realistic the game is. Also, your A.I. allies aren't nearly completely useless like they are in other World War II shooters.

The weapons are also a great addition to the game, not just the guns, but the knife also. I find it way more effective than gun-whacking, it's one stab and your dead.

Now, to discuss multi-player! Wow. I have Xbox LIVE and I love it. I especially like the "Killcam", so you maybe can figure out how other players have killed you so you can improve or find their position. The Perks are awesome also. So are the rewards for kill-sprees! Radar lets you find your enemies easier. Air strike lets you choose a position on the map for some planes to drop bombs on. Helicopter lets you send in a helicopter (duh) that machine-guns all the enemies it spots. The only disadvantage to the last two are that if your enemies get in good, stable cover (some walls and fences can be shot through, like some wood), they will probably not be harmed by either.

Splitscreen is also fun to play with people at your house or wherever.

Just overall, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is currently my favorite game ever, but that may soon change when Call of Duty: World at War is released!
