Sonic Advance

The blue wonder zips onto the portable scene once again, but this time he?s batting for the plumber?s team.

Sonic is not new to the handheld market as he?s seen multiple tours of duty on Sega?s Game Gear as well as making a moonlight appearance on the short-lived Neo Geo Pocket. However, Sonic Advance is definitely new ground for our hedgehog, as he finally faces up to his greatest arch nemesis on equal ground?and we?re not talking about Dr. Robotnik here. No, we?re talking about Mario, the Italian plumber himself, the very force that led Sega to come up with Sonic in the first place.

Sonic Advance looks to make a solid impact on the Gameboy Advance starting with an all new quest that will feature additional surprises. He?ll have to stop Dr. Robotnik and gather the Chaos emeralds, but he won?t be alone as he is joined by Tails, Knuckles and Amy, any of whom can be used to play through the adventure. Multiplayer options will be available in the form of the Chaos Emerald hunt as well as standard Battle modes. Look for the blue bundle of energy to streak onto Gameboy Advances this November.
